The Standardized A-Kit \/ Vehicle Envelope (SAVE) describes the physical dimensions of the envelope that modern C5ISR capabilities must fit into on ground vehicles. A key aspect of the SAVE envelope is the ability to update the existing vehicle space used for legacy comms with modern computing and communication capabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

While SAVE does not explicitly outline technical requirements in terms of systems, it does outline observations for mounting dimensions, interface types of Ethernet, and power limitations of up to 600W on the SAVE slot.
